The Arctic Traveller is a 49ft 1984 Defever Raised Pilothouse long-range Trawler home ported in Juneau, Alaska
Typical of most Defever designs, she's heavily built with enough bulk to provide a smooth ride.
We are equipped with the latest in electronic / hydraulic
stabilization technology, assuring a comfortable ride in most all sea conditions.
There are protected walk-around decks, and a Portuguese bridge for your comfort.
She is equipped with all of the latest in electronics including an extra large chart plotter, radar, three GPS units, two Lorans, VHF, SSB/Ham radio, Weather Fax, NAVTEX, forward looking sonar, auto-pilot and more.
On the boat deck is a rigid hull inflatable with outboard available for exploring remote anchorages or taking trips to shore. Kayaks are available upon request.
She's warm, dry, and stable with plenty of room available for everyone
The fully equipped fly bridge is a great place to unwind and watch the incredible scenery as it passes by.
The Arctic Traveller is a warm, dry boat equipped with all the comforts of home including three different heating systems, flat screen TV with DVD player and Dolby 5.1 surround sound, CD player and a leather double reclining love seat in the salon.
There's a separate dining area and a large galley. Forward there are 4 berths with private head. The master berth has a Queen sized walk-around bed with dual reading lights and a private head.
The interior of the boat features plenty of room to relax
-- you can find a private corner to read or watch the incredible scenery while others remain on the bridge piloting the boat.
